C. Melda Meriç

Board Member

Canan Melda Meriç, a graduate of TED Ankara College, graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 2000. She began her career as a lawyer at Prof. Dr. Metin Günday Law Office, where she worked as a litigation lawyer and legal consultant, primarily in administrative law and international law, until 2004. Between 2004 and 2005, Meriç served as Personnel Manager at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). From 2005 to 2021, she continued her career as Chief Legal Counsel at Sayer Group of Companies, managing the legal affairs of domestic and international group companies operating in the oil and gas sector. During this period, Meriç also served as a Board Member of the Petroleum Platform Association (PETFORM) as the Head of the Exploration & Production Group in 2009. In March 2021, he joined the IC Holding Group, which operates in the construction, tourism, real estate, energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. Meriç currently serves as the Legal Director at IC Holding and holds no other group-wide role. As of May 27, 2024, Meriç has been a Board Member of IC GYO and is also a member of the Early Detection of Risk Committee.
