The Paris Agreement, which Turkey is also a signatory of, aims to limit the global temperature increase to 2 degrees and, if possible, keep it below 1.5 degrees. International cooperation and global efforts are essential to mitigate the effects of the climate crisis and protect the environment.
In this struggle, while the role of governments is critically important, the private sector must also support the measures taken against the climate crisis and fulfill its responsibilities for a sustainable future.

With its Climate Change Policy, IC GYO is committed to taking the necessary steps to measure and manage the risks arising from climate change, playing an active role in this fight, and contributing to Turkey's transition to a low-carbon economy.
As a result of efforts carried out at the holding level and encompassing IC GYO as a group company, concrete steps have been taken, including setting carbon reduction targets, conducting climate risk studies, and developing a comprehensive climate strategy.

Emission Reporting
Starting from the base year of 2022, Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions for IC Hotels Green Palace & Villas, IC Hotels Santai Family Resort, IC Hotels Airport, and Çeşme Marina are calculated and reported in accordance with the GHG Protocol.
Emission Reduction Targets
IC Holding has set a 27% emissions reduction target for 2030, compared to 2022. A 3.5% reduction is targeted for 2025. These targets are monitored annually.
Risk and Opportunity Management
Necessary studies have been conducted and monitoring mechanisms have been established regarding climate risks and opportunities for IC Hotels Green Palace & Villas, IC Hotels Santai Family Resort, IC Hotels Airport, and Çeşme Marina, which are included in the portfolio.
