IC GYO has a management philosophy that recognizes sustainable success is based on responsible consumption of resources and efficient use of natural resources. In addition to complying with legal regulations, it is committed to minimizing the negative impacts of its activities in order to leave a livable world for future generations.

Resource Efficiency and Sustainable Practices

Our steps towards conserving natural resources and using them efficiently.

Renewable Energy

We meet a significant portion of our energy needs from renewable sources through a total of 1148 solar panels installed at our hotels.

In 2025, Çeşme Marina met its entire annual electricity consumption of 3,414 MWh through renewable energy sources, having obtained the I-REC certificate.

Water Reclamation

At our hotels in Antalya and at Çeşme Marina, we are minimizing water consumption by using water from the osmosis treatment system for garden irrigation.

Soilless Agriculture

With our on-site production philosophy, we reduce carbon emissions and provide the necessary crops while consuming much less water.

Waste Management and Certifications

The rapidly increasing population and changing consumption habits are deepening environmental issues and increasing waste production, leading to the rapid depletion of natural resources. We act with this awareness.

  • All the hotels in our portfolio and Çeşme Marina have Zero Waste Certificate.
  • All our hotels have ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 50001 Energy Management System certificates.

Conservation of Biodiversity

We meticulously preserve the natural life and cultural heritage in the regions where we operate.

IC Hotels Green Palace & Villas and IC Hotels Santai Family Resort,
hosts plant and animal species that need to be protected in terms of biodiversity management.

Sand Lilies

Our beaches are home to endangered species “sand lilies”, which are protected by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

Loggerhead Turtle Nests

Our beaches are an important nesting area for the loggerhead sea turtles, known as caretta caretta, and these areas are meticulously protected.

Serik Pear (Pyrus Serikensis)

In our gardens, there is the Serik pear, a relict endemic plant found only in Belek in the world.
